Supreme Now Closing Stores Amid Coronavirus Fears

Supreme announce further store closures after the outbreak of Coronavirus starts to take its toll on the streetwear & sneaker industry.

Yesterday Nike announced they would be closing all of their US stores due to the Coronavirus epidemic with further stores in Australia, Europe & Canada to also close by the end of March  2020. Patagonia also recently revealed they will be closing all their stores as well as stopping online orders until further notice.

Now Supreme are also taking precautionary steps to protect their staff & customers announcing they will be closing their New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London and Paris stores. Those who are still looking to shop for Supreme products will still be able to do so via the Supreme New York website. Brands like Supreme & Nike may be fortunate enough to be able to close stores with strong revenues and capital available, however we do fear the smaller independents will simply not have this luxury regardless of the health risks. The outbreak is merely highlighting how delicate some industries really are when put under further stress.
