There’s always been a loyal following of football fans and terrace thugs when it comes to Stone Island. However, the Italian sportswear brand has also had numerous other sub-cultural connections from the Italian Paninaro to the original UK Grime scene of the early noughties. Over the last 5 years the brand has taken a more streetwear direction with collaborations with the likes of Supreme and Nike. This new streetwear direction has seen the brand become the global technical powerhouse it is today. No longer a niche brand associated with just football casuals but a brand up there as one of the top premium streetwear brands on the entire planet. Thanks to Drake and many other global rap stars, Stone Island are now at the very top of their game.
For September 2019, Stone Island have now unveiled their new Hong Kong flagship store.
